The first publication of the European 2038 project was accepted for publication! The study “Young People’s Engagement with the European Union: The Importance of Visions and Worries for the Future of Europe” will be published in issue 4 (2017) in the topical issue “Political and Civic Engagement in Youth” (Editors: Xenia Chryssochoou & Martyn Barrett) of the Zeitschrift für Psychologie / Journal of Psychology. Two Europe 2038 posters were presented at the 9th International Congress of Cognitive Psychotherapy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania on June 29, 2017. This is a very important internationa congress with participants from all over the world (Europe, Asia, North America, South America, etc.). Besides the poster presentations, materials were given to the participants of the congress. The poster presentations were: Poster 1. The Spanish team presented some of their main results in the III Emotional Inteligence and Well-Being International Congress, took place in Zaragoza, Spain, between May 18-21, 2017.
The Europe 2038 project was presented during the SocNet98 international week that took place between May 2 and 5, 2017 in Linz. During the workshop ¿Qué será, será? Visions and Worries of Adolescents and Young Adults for the Future of Europe the results of the PAN European Survey were discussed with an international group of social workers. Concrete measures how to put the visions into practice were developed on on local, national and EU level based on the inputs.

The newspaper “Passauer Neue Presse” published a report of the first results of the Europe 2038 project that were presented at the University of Passau November 16, 2016. The newspaper report can be found here: Passauer Neue Presse
Results from Romania, Spain, Italy and Austria were presented during a plenary symposium at the XXI Workshop Aggression organized by Prof. Simona Trip and Dr. Carmen Bora, November 18. A discussion round with multipliers including the European parliamentary Emilian Pavel was also organized and the results from the Europe 2038 project were discussed with a large number of national multipliers.
The multiplier event in Germany took part November 16, 2016. There were talks from Germany and Austria. Prof. Rappenglück, Prof. Urhane and Prof. Strohmeier discussed the German and Austrian results of the Europe 2018 project with the participants.
As a diffusion activity, the Spanish team will be in the biggest university campus of the city of Cordoba in order to promote the project among the students who will be there
The Spanish team participates in the Science Week organized for the University of Cordoba. Distributed throughout several headquarters, in one of the planned activities, the project will be presented to youngsters from a secondary school in Ecija, Seville.
